The creator of Resident Evil has founded his own studio
The network noticed that game designer Shinji Mikami has opened a studio called Kamuy. Information about this appeared on the official website of Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered.

Mikami is listed among the other remaster developers in the Creators section. The brief biography says that he founded Kamuy shortly after leaving Tango Gameworks - Mikami left it in early 2023. There is no other information about Kamuy on the game's website.
According to the SalesNow registry, Kamuy Studio was registered on October 5, 2023. She is based in Tokyo. Mikami himself has not publicly announced the launch of Kamuy, but on October 12, he wrote on social media that he was ready to return to game development.
Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered is a project of Grasshopper Manufacture studio. It is unknown whether the entire Kamuy is involved in the creation of the remaster or only Mikami. Recall that Mikami was the producer of the original Shadows of the Damned, so in theory he could have joined the work on the title on his own initiative.
Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered will be released during 2024 on PC and PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch consoles.
